He started Sunrider over 35 years ago with a vision of nourishing the world with the finest health and beauty products. Sunrider grew from the dream of Dr. Tei-Fu Chen into a global enterprise serving 50 countries and territories. We manufacture over 400 award-winning products in our 1 million square foot state-of-the art facilities. We're proud to be a family-owned, financially stable company that's never missed a paycheck!
Sunrider's owners have backgrounds and degrees in western medicine, herbology, pharmacology, and organic chemistry. We combine the best of eastern and western science to create the most innovative, effective products. Sunrider is owned by two extraordinary individuals( along with their children ) each of whom has a scientific background in addition to unusual business acumen. A renowned herbalist with a degree in Pharmacy, Dr. Tei Fu Chen combines ancient Chinese herbal lore with modern western technology. Dr Chen developed Sunrider's superior products based on the Philosophy of Regeneration, with its emphasis on the balance between Yin and Yang and the five elements. Dr Chen embodies the best of the East and the West. Dr. Oi-Lin Chen received her Doctorate of Medicine and was a practicing physician in the U.S. before joining Sunrider as a President.
Starting from their home in Utah in 1982, the Chens formulated and packaged herbs for sale and distribution. Since those humble beginnings, Sunrider has grown into a multinational corporation with more than one million consumers and Distributors world wide.

That means that we produce our own products in our own facility, there is no third party manufacturing and no cross contamination!
Our Los Angeles Manufacturing Plant, houses the most advanced pharmaceutical-grade machinery available, specially customised to fulfill our exacting standards of product concentration, effectiveness, and safety. All Sunrider products are produced in the USA. They are then shipped to our Australian warehouse in Waterloo Sydney before arriving to us.
